About the event

The Regency Experience at Birkhill Castle invites you to step back in time to the elegance and splendor of early 19th century Scotland. Set in the historic grounds of Birkhill Castle in Cupar, this immersive event offers guests the opportunity to don period attire and participate in authentic Regency entertainments. Your experience begins with an enchanting Masquerade Soiree & Ceilidh, where mystery and traditional Scottish dance combine for an unforgettable evening. The highlight of the experience is the Grand Ball, recreating the sophisticated atmosphere of the era with period music, dance cards, and formal entertainment, with professional dancers guiding you through authentic Regency dance patterns. Guests will also enjoy a refined Afternoon Tea service featuring traditional Scottish and Regency-era delicacies served on fine china in the castle's elegant drawing room.     £350 This ticket includes all Extravaganza events Friday to Sunday for 1. It does not include accommodation, alcoholic drinks or supplemental activities.

Yes, the Castle Plan includes a stay in the castle, all events, all meals, and non-alcoholic drinks.

Yes, wine, beer, and mixed drinks will be available for purchase.

3. I don’t know where to get Regency clothes. Will there be a shop available?

Yes, the Modiste will be available on-site for you to buy or rent Regency clothing.

Yes, children are welcome, but those under 12 will not be able to participate in the dances.

 

5. Are pets allowed?
No, pets are not allowed.

6. Is smoking allowed?
No, smoking is not permitted inside the event spaces.

 

7. Are all events free?
No, some events require an additional supplement, such as wine tasting, whiskey tasting, cheese tasting, champagne tasting, horseback riding, carriage rides, and drawing.

Yes, the event is fully immersive, and Regency attire is required at all times.

Yes, a monthly payment plan is available for ticket purchases.
