Good morning fellow lovers of the Regency period! My name is April Game (aka the Countess of Fife… you may address me as Lady Fife). I am an American whose recently moved to Scotland from Texas. I’m a single mom- my daughter is five and will be attending the ball with her. I hope there are some single dads bringing their little princes and princesses! I studied English literature and Medieval art history in university. I’ll be finishing my phd at St Andrews starting this September. I’m looking forward to meeting you all here in the months leading up to the ball! I love this concept and wish more groups did this sort of thing… a grand ball is not just an unforgettable weekend, it’s an opportunity to belong to an affinity group of other people who love the grace, language, style and romance of the Regency period.
